In chapter 2, Alice goes through a short phase where she seems kind of crazy or weird. She talks to herself throughout the first and second chapter but as she speaks, things seem different from the human language and some will not understand. Halle Berry reminds me of Alice in this stage because of her reaction when she won the best actor award and was the first African American woman to win this award. Even though it was big for her, it may not have been big for others and her acceptance speech seemed over the top and exaggerated for some of us. Also in chapter 2, while Alice was in the rabbit hole, she was speaking in French and crying a lot making things less interesting because of her actions towards little things going wrong. LeBron James reminds me of Alice because he is always crying and being dramatic when he doesn’t always get his way. For example, When LeBron James won against the hawks he fell to the floor all dramatic, when he could’ve hugged a team member or his coach making himself less dramatic.
based on my reading of chapter 2 i agree with your real world example, I've watched LeBron play and when he wins and loses LeBron James does act very dramatically - Orlando

ReplyDeleteI think she was very dramatic for something very little, but then I have to realize that she is still young and has not matured yet. She still has to be with an adult and when she wondered off, she wanted to go back. Realizing that, she should have never left in the first place but she was curious and young people do things to change their curiousness.
